South African Golf Courses - Royal Cape
Royal
Cape is the oldest golf club in South Africa, receiving the Royal
title in 1910 after a visit by the Duke of Connaught. The Royal
Cape has been host to many South African opens over its history.
The golf course consists of 18 holes and features 58 bunkers.
This parkland course also boasts with six beautiful water features.
This course can be challenging especially if the southeasterly
is blowing. The fairways are fairly narrow and tree lined with
well -bunkered
greens and plenty of water on the course. The course is not only
challenging but also aesthetically pleasing with the majestic
backdrop of the Table Mountain prominent from most aspects of
the course.
