16 Day Big Five Standard Golf Tour: (11 South African Golf Courses)
This is the most comprehensive tour available. We’ll start off on safari where we’ll see all the animals that Africa is famous for. From there we continue with the safari theme on to Sun City. The Kwa-Zulu Natal coast, which welcomes us with its sun-drenched beaches and lush plant growth, are next on the agenda. From here we go to arguably the most scenic place in South Africa, the Garden Route. We explore Cape Town on the last leg of our trip to make this an unforgettable golfing holiday.

Day 1:

Upon arrival at Johannesburg International Airport, you will be met and we’ll fly to Nelspruit, where we will be accommodated at the Sabie River Sun Hotel.
Here you can spend the early afternoon relaxing at the resort and enjoy a late afternoon game drive in the Kruger National Park.
An African style barbeque and brief of the week to follow.

Day 2:

We’ll spend the whole day in Kruger National Park. An early morning game drive to Skukuza takes us into the heart of the Lowveld bush. During the early morning and late afternoon hours our chances are best to spot lion, leopard and other cat species.

Day 3:

Play golf at Sabie River Sun Golf Course, early morning tee-off.
We’ll have our last game drive through Kruger this afternoon.

Day 4:

We’ll take a morning flight to Johannesburg International Airport from where we’ll drive to the Sun City Resort. On route we’ll see the spectacular Hartebeespoort Dam and have the opportunity to buy some traditional hand crafted art at the informal African market. Upon arrival at Sun City you can enjoy some leisure time until we leave on an evening game drive to spot all those illusive nocturnal animals in the Pilanesberg National Park.

Day 5:

Play golf at Gary Player Country Club, early morning tee-off.
The afternoon is left open for you to explore the “Lost City” and all it has to offer.

Day 6:

Enjoy an Elephant Back Safari through the African bush in the Pilanesberg National Park. It is an unforgettable experience to see the game from the back of these gentle giants.

Day 7:

We prepare for our trip back over the Hartebeespoort dam.
Play golf at the Pecanwood Estate Golf Club, early morning tee-off.
We return to Johannesburg International Airport for departure to Durban.

Day 8:

Today we’ll get up close and personal with the whales and dolphins of the Indian Ocean when we take a boat ride to watch these amazing marine animals.

Day 9:

Today we’ll take a break from the golf and enjoy the scenic drive down the south coast to Wild Coast Sun.

Day 10:

Play golf at Southbroom Golf Course, mid morning tee-off.
Afterwards, we’ll drive up to Margate, one of South Africa’s favorite holiday destinations. Now you can enjoy the sun-drenched beaches that South Africa is famous for.

Day 11:

Today we’ll take an early drive up towards Durban to take a flight to George in the Garden Route. We’ll explore the beauty of the Garden Route upon arrival.

Day 12:

Play golf at Fancourt - Links Golf Course, early-morning tee-off.
After golf, we’ll further explore this lovely part of the Garden Route.

Day 13:

Play golf at Sparrenbosch Golf Club, mid-morning tee-off.
After golf, we’ll explore Knysna, undoubtedly the wooden furniture capitol of South Africa. Ferry Ride to Knysna Heads.

Day 14:

We’ll take an early morning flight to the Mother City, Cape Town.
Play golf at Stellenbosch Golf Club, early-afternoon tee-off.
We’ll enjoy dinner in Camps Bay

Day 15:

Today we’ll take a break from golf when we take the cable car up Table Mountain to enjoy the unhindered view of Cape Town and the peninsula. From here we get a bird’s eye view of the famous Robben Island where Nelson Mandela spent 27 years in captivity. After our trip up Table Mountain, we’ll take a ferry ride to the much talked about Robben Island to explore it for ourselves.

We take an early afternoon flight to Johannesburg International for departure.
