11 day Buffalo Standard Golf Tour (8 South African Golf Courses)
On this tour we’ll enjoy the picturesque beauty that Cape Town is famous for. We’ll not only play on some of the most beautiful golf courses in South Africa, we’ll also explore extensively to make sure that this is a holiday second to none. We’ll go to Robben Island where Nelson Mandela was held captive for 27 years. We’ll also go up Table Mountain to enjoy the unhindered views of Cape Town and the Peninsula.

Day 1:

Collected at Cape Town International Airport
Visit Spier Estate or Franschoek for late morning tea.

Overnight: Erinvale Estate Hotel

Day 2:

Play golf at Erinvale Country Club, early morning tee-off.
After golf we’ll go wine tasting at various wine estates.

Day 3:

Play golf at Stellenbosch Golf Club, early morning tee-off.
Visit the beautiful University town of Stellenbosch
Strawberry picking (seasonal)

Day 4:

Today we take a break from golf and get to see the fairest Cape in all its splendour and beauty. We’ll take a boat trip to Robben Island where Nelson Mandela spent 27 years in captivity. We’ll also take the cable car trip up Table Mountain. From here we get a bird’s eye view of Cape Town, the Peninsula and Robben Island. We’ll also explore the V&A Waterfront.

Day 5:

Play golf at Clovelly Country Club, mid morning tee-off.
Cape Point Nature Reserve in the afternoon. See where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans meet.

Day 6:

Play golf at Steenberg Golf Club, mid morning tee-off.
Wine tasting at Steenberg Estate
We’ll visit Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens with its unique “fynbos” species.

Day 7:

Today we’ll start early; we’ll take a scenic drive around False Bay to Hermanus.
Play golf at Arabella Golf Club, early afternoon tee-off.

Overnight: Caledon Hotel

Day 8:

Play golf at Hermanus Golf Club, mid morning tee-off.
Explore Hermanus including whale watching (seasonal)

Overnight: Caledon Hotel

Day 9:

Today we take another break from golf to drive up the beautiful West Coast. We’ll have a special lunch on the beach.

Overnight: Cullinan Hotel

Day 10:

Play golf at Boschenmeer Golf Estate, mid morning tee-off.
We visit the beautiful town of Paarl. Late Afternoon at leisure to do shopping
Helicopter trip (optional extra)

Day 11:

Play golf at Royal Cape Golf Club
Transport to Cape Town International Airport for departure
